Mario Teodoro Failon Etong takes pride in his humble beginnings when he worked at a young age to support his studies. While taking up his college education, he worked as a disc jockey for a small joint in Cubao, Quezon City. He began his career in 1983 as a radio announcer for a local radio station in Leyte.
