Amaliya Pənahova

Amalia Alish kizi Panahova was a Soviet and Azerbaijani theater and film actress, teacher. Doctor of Art History, professor. People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR and the Armenian SSR (1985). She was born in Kirovabad, Azerbaijan SSR, USSR. In 1966, she graduated from the Baku Theater Institute. She was an actress at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater, and from 1992 until her death, she was the director of the Baku Municipal Theater.
