Nigel Rathbone is a British actor who is perhaps best known for playing Steve Forbes in thirty three episodes of the TV series The Gentle Touch (1980-1984) as well as his role as Arpad Laszlo in the BBC TV play She Loves Me (1979). He played Tim Barber in ten episodes of Look and Read (1967-2004) and he also starred alongside Bob Hoskins in the TV series Pennies from Heaven (1978-1979) in the episode "Painting the Clouds".
