Don Zimmerman was a music executive and former president of Capital Records throughout the 70's and 80's.
Kicking off his stint at Capitol/EMI as a salesman and district sales manager in San Francisco in the 1960s, Zimmermann rose to the top of the heap in 1976, when he was appointed executive vp and COO of Capitol Records.
