Tamao Nakamura was a Japanese actress who began her film career in the 1950s after being discovered while still a junior high school student. She became known for films including Conflagration (1958), Bonchi (1960), Satan’s Sword (1960), and The Human Condition III: A Soldier’s Prayer (1961). She also appeared in Bamboo Doll of Echizen (1963) and provided a voice role in My Neighbors the Yamadas (1999).
